 Implant
Dentistry
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root (synthetic material)
that is surgically anchored into your jaw to hold a replacement
tooth or bridge in place. The benefit of using implants is
that they don't rely on neighboring teeth for support, they
are fixed and stable. Implants are a good solution to tooth
loss because they look and feel like natural teeth.

When was
the last time you tasted a crisp autumn apple or enjoyed summer
corn? If you avoid smiling or eating in public because your
denture may slip or a space left by a missing tooth may show,
dental implants may be an option for you.
Implant
patients come from all ages and backgrounds. Some can no longer
wear removable dentures; others don't want to. Whatever your
particular circumstances, dental implants can provide a sense
of security and well-being that can't be matched.

Crowns
(Full Porcelain and/or Gold)
All-porcelain crowns (also called caps) are a beautiful, long-lasting
choice. The procedure involves reducing and carefully shaping
the supporting tooth, creating an impression from which a model
of the prepared teeth are made, and having the crown fabricated
(usually in a dental lab), then fitting and permanently cementing
or bonding the crown in place.

Composite
Fillings
Until recently you had no choice about the color of your fillings.
Now you can have old silver or gold fillings replaced with nearly
invisible porcelain or resin restorations. |

Full
Porcelain Inlays/Onlays
To repair damage involving over ½ of the tooths
biting surface, rather than using a simple filling, or a crown,
Dr. Beck can construct an inlay, or an onlay. |

Wisdom
Teeth
When the jaw isn't large enough to accommodate wisdom teeth,
they can become impacted (unable to come in or misaligned).
Wisdom teeth may grow sideways, emerge only part way from the
gum or remain trapped beneath the gum and bone. When this happens,
problems develop that ofen require their removal. |
